Collecting Information about a Windows OS
To assist with resolving the error, Bio-Rad recommends collecting information regarding your Windows operating system to help with troubleshooting.
To record the information, do one of the following:
Important: These instructions apply to Microsoft Windows Version 10 Enterprise. Icons, windows, and locations might be different if your computer has a different version of the Windows 10 operating system.
To locate and record the Windows and system information

Click the Search icon ( ) at the bottom of the screen and type Control Panel in the field. |

Do one of the following: |

If the Control Panel opens immediately click System and Security. Skip to step 5. |

If Control Panel > All Control Panel Items appears in the address field, go to step 3. |

Click Control Panel in the Address Field. |
|
4.
|
Click System and Security. |
|
6.
|
Under View basic information about your computer, locate the Windows edition, installed memory, and system type, and then enter the information into the error form or the email body. |
To locate the disk size
|
1.
|
Right-click on the File Explorer icon at the bottom of the screen. |
|
3.
|
Right-click on the C: drive. |
|
4.
|
Locate the disk storage size, as shown below. Truncate the number to 3 digits to represent gigabytes and round up or down. For example, the disk size below would be truncated to 499 GB. |

5.

Enter the information into the error form or email body. |
